I attended an exhibition by the Photocopy Club at 71a a couple of weeks ago I got talking to Paul Vickery, a photographer with a knack of unlocking hidden and interesting lives. Below are a few selected photographs from the series, Past Imperfect Future Tense. There is a crazy story that accompanies this set but I’ll let the photos do the talking.

There’s an equally interesting story that goes along with the set, Coney – The End game. Shot on Coney Island, it seems Paul also holds the talent of being in the right place at the right time, capturing a brawl on the pier and the ensuing aftermath. “Warriors, come out to play.”

I’ve just been handed some other bits by Paul, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing more.
