DJ E-Da Boss – Blazing Session’s 45 mix
February 21st, 2013 by @nick1lewis1I’ve been listening to a lot of old music as of late. Northern Soul, Rare Groove, Psychedelic rock and what not. I think the tireless pursuit of finding new music has waned, and going back through time via Spotify is far more enjoyable, all that stuff and this DJ E-Da Boss mix are the antipathy of everything music blog worthy. It’s bloody great.
DJ Oneman – ‘Solitaire Vol. 1′
January 30th, 2013 by @nick1lewis1We’ve been championing this South Londoner for a very long time round these parts. We’ve seen him destroy all kinds of dances. From 300 attendee Notting Hill House Parties to one of the best sets ever at a FWD vs Rinse rave in room 2 at Matter, he can transcend scenes, venues, raves and always come correct with seamless mixes that bewilder and baffle.
This mix has been doing the rounds this week, it sees Oneman branching away from the blogs and labels to put up a mix on his own newly launched website and truly kick in the door of 2013. It’s a weighty mix that sees the contemporary producers L-Vis-1990, Falty DL and Boddika alongside the likes of Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka. With a couple of his own cheeky edits in there its a flawless mix that covers everything we’ve come to expect from a Oneman set when he takes it a little deeper.
Standard Place are teaming up with Dollop and are taking Solitaire on tour for what will be an unmissable night in East London.
